LOVE ISLAND 2024: WHEN DOES ITV SERIES END AND WHO IS STILL IN THE VILLA?

The end of Love Island 2024 is almost upon us, and, as always, things seem to be hotting up in the villa.

In some of the latest ITV2 scenes, the pairs underwent their last coupling before heading toward the final with their beaus.

But is it genuinely love in paradise? Some viewers thought Joey Essex looked a little down when Reuben Collins chose his ex, Grace Jackson.

Then came Love Island's award ceremony, The Grafties, where the contestants get to revisit their best and worst moments on the show.

This led to the surprise eviction of Lola Deluca and Harry Baker, who were forced to leave the show just one week before the end of the season. Many viewers felt they didn’t even have a chance to enjoy their time in their villa before it was brutally cut short.

“That was heavy... Lola & Harry didn’t really get enough chance to shine in the villa,” one social media viewer said.

While there were many shocked faces among the remaining couples, Lola and Harry were more or less the obvious option because they’d only just entered the villa as bombshells.

With seven couples remaining, there’s all to play for in the next few days and not everyone will manage to make it to the final.

Just over a week away from packing their bags and heading back to reality, which couple will walk away with this year’s crown?

When does Love Island 2024 end?

Love Island bosses have confirmed this year’s finale will take place on Monday, July 29.

That means there’s just one week of antics left before this season's winners are crowned.

Who is still in the villa?

Take a look at our breakdown of each remaining islander and their current situation.

Matilda and Sean

Matilda and Sean rekindled their romance after Sean had his "head turned" in Casa Amor by two girls.

The pair’s relationship has been going strong, and they even recently enjoyed a date that included driving off together in a Porsche.

Jessy and Joey

Jessy was left fuming as she learned newcomer Lolly had chosen Joey as her first date.

"Karma's a bitch and she's called Lolly," she said at the time.

But, they’ve stuck at it and are heading to the finale together, having survived the last recoupling.

Jessica and Ayo

Jessica "stole" Ayo from Mimii after they found a connection in Casa Amor. But things haven't been smooth sailing recently, with Jessica telling Ayo he doesn't give much away after revealing she is "a bit obsessed with him".

Nicole and Ciaran

The pair have dropped the L-bomb but their journey hasn't come without its rocky patches.

The couple had a fight on the series but after mending things following night in front of a film, however, they seem to be on the up.

Mimii and Josh

Josh recently surprised Mimii with a special breakfast. Josh recruited Reuben and Matilda to help distract Mimii while he put together some waffles and fresh fruit, before surprising her on the terrace.

"Wow, wow, wow... I don't even know what to say right now, I'm shooketh."

Grace and Reuben

Grace and Reuben decided to pair up during the show's final recoupling, helping them edge closer to the final.

While they may be relatively new as a couple, they seem to be feeling good about the coupling - even though some may believe Joey feels a certain way about it.

Lolly and Konnor

Before entering the villa, Lolly said she was most interested in getting to know Joey. When in the villa, she then went on dates with Joey, Konnor and Ciaran.

After Konnor’s splir with Emma, he has been friend-zoned a few times before things started to hot up with Lolly.
