Telefèric, a stunning Spanish restaurant from Barcelona, just opened a location in Long Beach on September 3. The restaurant expanded to Brentwood in 2023 and operates a handful of locations in the Bay Area.

Like the other outposts, the Long Beach restaurant serves a menu focused on tapas seafood, and paella. Start the meal with patatas bravas or pan con tomato before moving on to seafood dishes including gambas al ajillo and Galician grilled octopus with pimentón potato puree. The menu also features a lobster paella and a paella negra made with squid ink, shrimp, and octopus. A slate of signature gin and tonics with ingredients like botanical gin, rosemary, and orchid are available to pair with the food, plus classic cocktails, wine, and sangria.

The interior is designed by co-founder Maria Padrosa and Trenchs Studios. Taking inspiration from traditional Spanish design, it features handmade Spanish ceramics, a mural from artist Toni Obra, and Spanish tile. In addition to the indoor seating, an expansive outdoor patio is also available.
