QUEZON TOWN BANS STREET VENDORS FROM SELLING SEAFOOD

PEREZ, Quezon, Philippines — Street vendors in this town are prohibited from selling seafood starting Monday.

Mayor Charizze Marie Escalona said the ban is provided under Municipal Ordinance No. 2020-08, which states that the sale and purchase of fish and other seafood is allowed only in the town’s community fish landing center.

“ It aims to make traffic flow smoothly and maintain the order of our streets,” Escalona said in a statement.
