CAAP ISSUES NOTICES AS CAUTION FOR FLIGHTS SCHEDULED ON SATURDAY

MANILA, Philippines — The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (Caap) on Thursday issued two Notices to Airmen (NOTAM).

The notices were prompted the “special operations” involving the “aerospace flight activities conducted by China.”

Caap did not give details.

A NOTAM provides information about changes or hazards like unburned debris that can affect flight operations.

The first NOTAM, B2393/24, will be valid on Saturday, June 29, from 7:49 p.m. until 9:33 p.m.

The estimated fall area for unburned debris will be in the following coordinates:

Meanwhile, the second NOTAM, B2391/24, will be effective from 7:50 p.m. until 9:38 p.m. on the same day.

Caap noted that the vertical limits extend from the surface to unlimited altitude.
