HOME to one of the world's greatest Buddhist monuments, majestic Borobudur plays host to "Expression," a cross-border visual art exhibition between the Philippines and Indonesia.
A joint initiative by Indonesia's Limanjawi Art House and the Filipinas Institute For The Advancement Of Arts And Culture Inc. (FilArts), a nonstock nonprofit organization established by Filipino artists with the vision of creating a platform to promote Filipino arts and culture, the international art collaboration is ongoing at the Limanjawi Art House in Borobudur, Indonesia, and will run until March 31, 2023.
The Philippines' delegates to the said art exhibition boast of a powerful lineup of visual art masters and rising Filipino artists headed by FilArts President Roy Espinosa, together with Al Vargas, Aris Bagtas, Celso Pepito, Elvin Vitor, Espie Bagtas, Fe Madrid, Gene Villasper, Ingrid Aimee Peñaflor, Jinky Española, Lloyd Lusica, Pancho Piano and Roger San Miguel.
The Indonesian participants are visual artists Ajeng Pratiwi, Ayu Rika, Gusmen Heriadi, Hadi Soesanto, Ismanto Wahyudi, Januri, Mutiara Riswari, Pupuk DP, Umar Chusaeni, Utami Atasia Ishii and Yusda Romy Saputra.
