VIKINGS BUFFET TO OPEN EVENTS PLACE IN TAGAYTAY

(SPOT.ph) You cannot not mention Vikings if you're talking about popular buffets in the Philippines. They are, after all, considered to be the largest buffet restaurant in the country with 12 branches. And now that it's opening its 13th branch soon, this time in Tagaytay, prepare to pick your jaw up from the floor because the Vikings Venue Tagaytay looks like a freakin' mansion.

Here's what you need to know about Viking's mansion-like venue in Tagaytay:

Vikings posted architectural renderings of their soon-to-open branch in Tagaytay on social media and it does look like a mansion with its gigantic size and ornate style. The facade sports an elegant Mediterranean-inspired design characterized by the building's textured stucco-like exteriors, archways, and large doors and glass windows.

In terms of size, the Vikings Venue Tagaytay can host any occasion—from small gatherings to bigger parties such as weddings and company events with up to 1,200 guests. Compared to their other venues, specifically the one at SM Mall of Asia whose seating capacity is only around 400 pax, the seating capacity of the soon-to-open Tagaytay branch is easily double that or triple.

In true Tagaytay fashion, the Vikings Venue Tagaytay will have a view of the Taal Lake should you choose to celebrate your milestone at their outdoor area. If this new branch operates the same way as their Mall of Asia events branch, you can pay an additional fee for your preferred decoration, sound system, photo booth, host, and entertainment.

According to the Vikings press release, the Vikings Venue Tagaytay will offer the same variety of food. Expect the likes of the usual wide variety of sushi and sashimi, well-loved Filipino ulam, juicy steaks and other premium meats, and desserts such as cakes and ice cream.

The Vikings Venue Tagaytay will open in the same compound as their other buffet restaurant, Rosario by Vikings, which is located along the Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway. As of writing, there's no publicized target date when the Vikings Venue Tagaytay will open. Hopefully, it's up and running before the holiday rush starts or the wedding season next year.
