THE SPHERE CELEBRATED THE 4TH OF JULY WITH A WILD NEW DISPLAY SHOW USING 500 DRONES

It seems hard to believe the Las Vegas Sphere is only a year old.

In the last 12 months, the state-of-the-art venue in the desert has completely captivated the world of sports and entertainment. Most recently, the NHL Draft was held at the Sphere with tremendous results. But before that it was the NFL's Super Bowl taking over. Soon it'll be UFC's turn.

Yet the 4th of July will always be one of the most special days on the calendar for the Sphere. The $2.3 billion project was lit up for the first time on Independence Day in 2023 and those in Vegas on Thursday were treated to another unreal show celebrating both the holiday and the exosphere's anniversary.

The display — accompanied by more than 500 drones — served as both a rewind of the past year at the property while continuing to push its mind-blowing graphics forward. The Sphere even launched a 24/7 live cam where fans can see what's displayed at any time with custom audio synced up.

Check out the 4th of July show:

Yeah, I think we can go ahead and say it now: Fireworks are washed.
