INSIDE GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL GLAMPING FROM SECRET SETS, LUXURY POOL AND PAMPER SALONS

Glastonbury festival-goers can ditch the mud for luxury with a spa, cocktail bars and helicopter entrances available for glampers.

Those who were lucky enough to grab a ticket for Glastonbury are hoping there won't be a repeat of "the year of mud" in 1997 and torrential downpours will be swapped for bright, clear skies. However, those looking to add some luxury to their glamping experience, can get some comfort from the range of boutique camping options available at Worthy Farm.

On Wednesday, hundreds of thousands of people will descend onto Worthy Farm for a long weekend of music with Dua Lipa, Coldplay, Sza and Shania Twain headlining. Campers will likely have to queue for hours to secure their spot of choice, but the glamping options available mean that those ready to pay extra can enjoy a glamorous Glastonbury experience.

Luxury glamping accommodation providers The Pop-Up Hotel – with prices starting at £2,999 for five nights accommodation for two people – and Glastotel – where prices for bell tents, tipis and yurts start from £1,199 for two people – are returning for 2024, with a host of exclusive experiences. Wellness spaces with hot tubs, plunge pools oxygen bars, cocktail bars and pamper tents are just some of the facilities available for those willing to splash the cash...

Time to relax

The Wellness Space by Grown Alchemist at The Pop-Up Hotel offers everything glampers will need to relax. Hot tubs, saunas, plunge pools, sound baths, aromatherapy, oxygen bars, Yoga, Pilates and Reiki and a selection of face and body treatments are all available. It's the ideal place to energise ahead of a long day or unwind at the end of it, with an entirely enclosed space offering extended opening times and the option of in-room treatments.

If the weather behaves and the sun shines, Pop-Up Hotel-goers can also treat themselves to a dip in the swimming pool to cool off. Over at Glastotel, campers can relax at the on-site spa with hot tubs and treatments all bookable in advance.

Pampered glampers

Festival-goers don't have to join the dreaded shower Glastonbury queue or attempt a DIY experience with a bucket. Both glamping sites offer hot showers, flushing loos and pamper tents equipped with mirrors, hairdryers, and straighteners.

There will also be a Free People pop-up showroom at Pop-Up Hotel for those who are struggling to decide what to wear. Guests can enjoy the styling event with the brand known for their flowing bohemian dresses, heritage denim and statement printed jackets.

Feeling peckish

Both glamping accommodations provide food and drink facilities for when campers want to fuel up before heading into the festival. Breakfast buffets, evening platters, cocktail bars and a converted coffee Landrover Defender will be on-site at Glastotel while Pop-Up provides a bar and restaurant with exclusive supper club events throughout the week.

Secret sets

Glastonbury's line-up is bursting with talent, but a huge part of what makes the festival special are the secret sets laid on throughout the week. Glastotel has revealed they will host a number of exclusive sets across the five days – but have been sworn to secrecy.

At Pop-Up, Ellie Sax and husband DJ LBW will be bringing back their unforgettable performances ranging from morning acoustic melodies, Ibiza-style brunch poolside parties, evening DJs and live performances - including some surprise guests for guest-only secret sets.

Making an entrance

In its most luxurious move yet, Pop-Up offers helicopter and ground transfers in partnership with Voler Aviation Services for guests wanting to miss the traffic and arrive in style with departures available from The Cotswolds, London and Harrogate.

A private chauffeur-driven shuttle service for the short distance to the hotel arrivals reception will also be available. Both glamping accommodations provide free parking.
