The Fun Roof is a new bar opening on September 23 along General Luna in Poblacion, Makati. It is open on Tuesdays to Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. and on Thursdays to Sundays from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. Much like other watering holes in the area, The Fun Roof serves up a selection of tipples and bar chow, but what makes this new spot stand out is its wide array of games and activities that are bound to spice up your nights. There's no shortage of things to do here. In fact, it's the perfect distraction for all your woes.
Picture this: it's been a long day at work, and you really need to decompress. You ask your office friends to hang out and chill for two bottles. Typically, you'd all be seated in a booth, drowning your sorrows in alcohol. But what if you could release that pent-up rage through healthy competition, say, through a basketball match, a game of shuffleboard, mini-golf, or even a round at the batting cages? That's exactly what you'll get when you head to The Fun Roof.
What are the activities at this Poblacion bar:
Dubbed the "Poblacion Neo-Lit Rooftop Playground for Adults," The Fun Roof is set to light up the Poblacion skyline. This bar is decked out in modern and city-themed neon chic, like a train-themed cabana or space-themed booths, a 360-spinning carousel cabana with panoramic views of Makati, and many arcade and mini-games.
Sitting around and chatting about your frustrations will be the last thing on your mind, as there are different activities you can do to release your stress, like playing a round of basketball hoops, curling, feather bowling, shuffleboard, mini-golf and pinball, rage-hitting balls at the batting cages, getting drunk on shots while playing battleship, or hitting targets with shurikens and gun blasters.

By now, you might wonder if having this much fun would cause you undue stress, thanks to its accompanying price tag. Well, The Fun Roof has a minimal door charge of P500 on Fridays and Saturdays just to enter the neon playground, but on other days, you can come and go as you please.
Securing your spot at the rooftop bar's many seating configurations will also cost a few pesos but nothing too heavy to burn a hole through your pocket. But the best part is that activities are on a pay-per-use basis. You only have to pay for the activities you want. If you choose not to do anything (which you can but really, why?), you only have to pay for the drinks you consume. Having fun doesn't have to cost you an arm and a leg.
