HEADS UP, COMMUTERS: BGC BUS EXTENDS OPERATING HOURS FOR THE HOLIDAYS

(SPOT.ph) Bonifacio Global City has a lot of holiday festivities coming up, but the commute to get there isn’t exactly the easiest. The lack of public transportation options points us to BGC Bus, the sole bus company permitted to operate within this bustling commercial business district.

Commuters will be glad to know that BGC Bus has extended operating hours for its East Express route with terminals at EDSA Ayala and Market! Market!. The BGC Bus' last trip for this route is now at 1 a.m. from Monday to Friday and 12 a.m. from Saturday to Sunday. Public holidays will also have a last trip of 12 a.m.

The buses ply several routes in Makati, Bonifacio Global City, and Taguig, with a flat fare of P15. Make sure to bring your beep card with you as this is the only accepted mode of payment at BGC Bus.

Extended operating hours for BGC Bus

BGC Bus has two terminals: One is located at the intersection of EDSA and McKinley Road in Makati City, while the other is located at the back of Market! Market! facing C-5. The first one is within walking distance to MRT-3’s Ayala Station and One Ayala.

Prior to this new schedule, BGC Bus had last trips on 9 p.m. and 11 p.m., depending on the route. Departure intervals remain unspecified for now.

Monday to Friday

EDSA Ayala Terminal – 1 a.m.

Market! Market! Terminal – 1 a.m.

Saturday, Sunday, and holidays

EDSA Ayala Terminal – 12 a.m.

Market! Market! Terminal – 12 a.m.
